In the final scene that was used in the film, we discover that Rose had the necklace all along, and she throws it into the ocean so that it can be laid to rest with Jack. However, no-one saw Rose do this until this deleted scene was unearthed. I even saw it when it originally aired in the theater. The deleted scene totally rewrites this aspect of the plot. This was my favorite scene and I would replay it in my mind once in a while.
